Our motto is 'moving forward together'. We have chosen as our Auckland Sports College logo a design that is often incorporated into Polynesian tattoos. In Hawaii it is known as a lōkahi. For us, the triangles represent the four pillars of Pasifika life – Faith, Family, Friends, and Village. They also represent the values of Auckland Sports College – Faith, Integrity, Respect, and Effort. The Hawaiian word "lōkahi" is often interpreted as "united". |
